Včasih je izpit za nepremičninskega posrednika izvajala Upravna akademija, ki pa se reorganizira. Po Zakonu o nepremičninskem posredovanju pripravljajo prehod na opravljanje izpitov v skladu s predpisi nacionalne poklicne kvalifikacije. Obvestilo je o tem je objavljeno na strani Ministrstva za okolje. Izpit za nepremičninskega posrednika je pogoj za vsakega, ki prodaja nepremičnine.
